Statement of Faith

TFH adheres to a statement of faith consistent with mainstream Christian beliefs, emphasizing the authority of Scripture and the central role of Jesus Christ. We affirm:

  1. The divine inspiration and authority of the Bible.
  2. The Trinity, representing God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. The deity of Jesus Christ, His life, death, resurrection, and return.
  4. The role of the Holy Spirit in empowering, teaching and guiding believers into truth and revealing God’s heart.
  5. That God the Father wants an intimate relationship and a two-way conversation with His people.
  6. The importance of Christian fellowship, discipleship, and accountability.

Leadership Values

Our leadership is grounded in Christ-centred principles as found in 1 Tim 3:1-13,
focusing on humility, transparency, and service:

  • AuthenticityRespecting each member as a unique individual in Christ.
  • ServanthoodSeeing that to serve others is our first call as leaders.
  • ResponsibilityEnsuring the growth and safety of our community.
  • CourageEmbracing biblical truth, even when it challenges us.

We aim to foster a nurturing environment where those we engage with  feel respected, valued, and encouraged in their faith journey.

Values

  • Our values are based on Biblical teaching around the Kingdom teachings of Jesus Christ and centre on God’s truth, forgiveness and love. We believe that a Father’s love must include correction and restoration when things are out of step with the Kingdom values. In other words that we agree to:

  1. Love one another (John 15:17; 1 Pet 1:22; 1 John 4:7)
  2. Have equal concern for each other (1 Cor 12:25)
  3. Serve one another in love (Gal 5:13)
  4. Share with those in need (Rom 12:13)
  5. Look…to the interests of others (Phil 2:1-4)
  6. Whatever we do…we do for Him (Matt 25:40)
  7. Encourage one another daily (Heb 3:13; 1 Thess 5:11)
  8. ACCEPT one another as Christ has accepted (Rom 15:7)
  9. Bear with one another, forgiving each other (Col 3:13)
  10. Show tolerance for one another with humility (Eph 4:2)
  11. Owe nothing to one another except to love (Rom 13:8)
  12. Comfort one another (1 Thess 4:18)
  13. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving (Eph 4:32)
  14. Not become boastful, challenging one another (Gal 5:26)
  15. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love (Rom 12:10)
  • The Apostle Peter summed up the progression we look for in our lives in 2 Pet 1: 2-11. That each of us have all we need for life and godliness, thanks to our Lord Jesus, and that it is His desire that we increasingly grow in our knowledge of Him and in our godly character.

  • This then is our goal to so love each other and care for each other that we begin to grow towards this goal, our maturity in Christ, and that we will do the works He has called us to do.

  • We do not guarantee that all participants in our Business community will always be truthful or will agree to these Kingdom values or with those who supervise TFH, but we do ask that everyone who joins our community be willing to listen and be willing to digest what has been presented, holding on to that which is clearly God’s truth and to leave the rest.

Church Vision

The Church is undoubtedly the right setting for the those seeking to follow Jesus to grow and develop their spiritual lives. This connection is critical to developing as a follower of Christ.

However, the Church needs to respond to the special needs of those engaged in Business and to see God’s desire to bless business based on Kingdom principles.

Some Church Leaders may have missed the opportunity to support those in business simply because they are so busy “doing church” they do not feel they fully understand the Business world enough to help. We acknowledge that we are all on a spiritual journey and this Business focus needs special attention. Business Leaders often feel isolated and consumed by the demands of business so their spiritual walk may suffer as well.

We believe that this kind of ministry by those experienced in both God’s ways and in Business may be just what Business Leaders need.
